Salmon Corn Chowder

Ingredients
  

  • .5 stick butter
  • 2 medium sweet onions chopped
  • 1 can wild-caught salmon 15oz
  • 1.5 cups red potatoes eyes out, skin on, chopped or shredded
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cans creamed corn 15oz
  • 1 tsp black pepper ground
  • 2 tsp chives chopped
  • 1 tsp dill weed chopped
  • 2 tbsp sour cream

Instructions
 

  • On a medium burner, melt butter, add sweet onions, saute 5 minutes.
  • Add potatoes and chicken broth, bring to a full boil.
  • Reduce heat to simmer, boil until tender (about 10 minutes).
  • Add salmon, corn, creamed corn, pepper and spices. Cook 5 more minutes.
  • Add toppings if desired. Goes great with corn bread!
